Audit-first Magento 2 speed optimization. We measure, fix what matters, and prove the gain in Core Web Vitals.
Base scope of work β applies to all tiers. See the tier comparison below for hours and SLA specifics.
Lighthouse, WebPageTest, and Core Web Vitals numbers from before we started and after we finished. You see exactly what changed.
Properly configured FPC with Varnish in front. This alone often cuts category-page TTFB from two seconds to under 400ms.
WebP conversion, lazy loading, and JS/CSS bundling so the browser downloads less and paints sooner.
Years of log tables and stale indexes get cleared. Reindexing and cron schedules tuned so the catalog stays fast.
We profile every third-party module and tell you which ones are dragging the store down. Some get fixed, some get removed.
What we changed, why, and how to keep it fast. Your team isn't left guessing after we leave.
Transparent process β you always know what stage we're at and what comes next.
We measure current load times, TTFB, and Core Web Vitals, then trace the real bottlenecks. No guesswork.
Every change lands on a staging copy first. We never experiment on your live store during business hours.
We re-run the same tests on staging and compare. If a fix didn't help, it doesn't ship.
Push to production during a low-traffic window, then confirm the gains live in Search Console.
Pick the level that fits your size and required response time. You can switch tiers between months.
You want to know what's wrong before committing budget. Full report, no obligation to continue.
The fixes that move the needle for most stores. Audit included, applied on staging then production.
For stores where the theme or custom code is the bottleneck. Includes a Hyva front-end rebuild path.
Scope transparency β no surprises in the monthly report.
Access we require β passed via secure channel (1Password / Bitwarden).
"Category pages went from 4.2s to 1.6s LCP. Bounce rate on mobile dropped about 18% the following month."
"They told us upfront the theme was the problem, not the server. Hyva migration fixed what two other agencies couldn't."
Usually one of four things: full-page cache isn’t running (or isn’t using Varnish), too many heavy third-party extensions, an unoptimized theme that ships huge JS bundles, or hosting that’s too weak for Magento’s appetite. The audit tells you which apply to you.
It depends on your starting point, but stores we take from a stock install routinely go from 4-5 second category loads to under 2 seconds. We baseline before we start, so the gain is a real number, not a promise.
Open Source is fine. The performance levers (Varnish, Redis, FPC, image optimization, Hyva) work the same on both editions. You don’t need the paid license to have a fast store.
Hyva is a modern Magento front-end theme that drops the heavy Luma/PWA stack for clean Tailwind and minimal JavaScript. If your theme is the bottleneck, it’s the single biggest win available, but it’s a front-end rebuild, so we only recommend it when the numbers justify it.
Every change goes on staging first and gets tested before it touches production. We deploy in a low-traffic window and verify live. In years of doing this, we haven’t taken a store down.
The Standard tier runs 2-3 weeks end to end, most of which is testing on staging. A Deep optimization with a Hyva migration takes 4-6 weeks. The audit alone is 2-3 days.
Magento is slow by default. That’s not a dig; it’s just what a platform built for 100,000-SKU catalogs does on a stock install. The good news is that most slow Magento stores are slow for the same handful of reasons, and we’ve fixed all of them before. We start with an audit, show you the numbers, then fix what actually moves the needle instead of running down a generic checklist.
Our targets are concrete: Largest Contentful Paint under 2.5 seconds, server response (TTFB) under 600ms on category pages, and a green Core Web Vitals score in Google Search Console. If your store can’t hit those, we’ll tell you why on the audit call, before you commit to anything.
If your Core Web Vitals don’t improve measurably on the Standard tier, we keep working at no extra cost until they do.
