Fixed monthly OpenCart support: security monitoring, backups, and a real person to email. For OpenCart 2.x, 3.x, and 4.x stores, with published pricing.
Base scope of work β applies to all tiers. See the tier comparison below for hours and SLA specifics.
OpenCart has no auto-update, so we apply core and extension security fixes by hand before a known exploit finds your store.
Scheduled off-site backups of files and database, and we test a restore so the backup is real, not just a cron job nobody has checked.
OCMOD and vQmod modifications collide silently. We review them on each update so a payment or shipping module does not break checkout.
The price tweaks, banner swaps, and broken-page fixes that come up, handled within your monthly hours instead of a separate invoice each time.
When your host bumps the PHP version, we make sure the store and its extensions keep running instead of throwing a white screen.
A quarterly read on whether your OpenCart version is still worth maintaining or whether an upgrade or migration would cost you less over a year.
Transparent process β you always know what stage we're at and what comes next.
We check your OpenCart version, extension security status, backup setup, and PHP compatibility. You get the findings whether or not you sign up.
We recommend the plan that fits your traffic and risk, and we say so if Essential is genuinely enough for your store.
We take secure access, set up monitoring and backups, and patch anything urgent the audit found.
We keep the store patched and online, handle requests within your hours, and send a short monthly summary of what we did.
Pick the level that fits your size and required response time. You can switch tiers between months.
For low-traffic stores that mainly need to stay secure, backed up, and online.
For active stores that need quick fixes and small changes handled without a new quote each time.
For stores where downtime costs real revenue and a fix cannot wait until tomorrow.
Scope transparency β no surprises in the monthly report.
Access we require β passed via secure channel (1Password / Bitwarden).
Our retainers are fixed and published: $150/month for Essential (security monitoring and backups, 1 hour of fixes), $400/month for Managed (24-hour response and 4 hours of work), and $900/month for Priority (a 4-hour SLA and 10 hours of work). No sales call required to see the price.
We do, but with a caveat. Those versions no longer get security fixes from the project, so no plan makes them safe forever. We will keep one running while you plan an upgrade, and we will be straight with you that an upgrade to OpenCart 4 or a migration is the real fix.
That is exactly what the plan is for. OCMOD and vQmod conflicts are the most common OpenCart failure, so we review modifications on each update and fix the collisions within your monthly hours rather than billing a separate emergency rate.
Yes. Most stores we support were built by someone else. The free audit is how we get oriented: it tells us the version, the extensions, and where the risks are before we take anything on.
No. Plans are monthly and you can cancel anytime. We keep you because the store stays up, not because you are locked in. The first month is also money-back.
Sometimes, and we will tell you when. If your store is on an end-of-life version or fighting its own extensions every month, a migration to WooCommerce can cost less over a year than the maintenance. We build those too, so our advice is not steering you toward our own retainer.
OpenCart does not update itself. There is no managed-host safety net the way there is for the big platforms, no automatic security patch, and a marketplace full of extensions where some authors stopped answering email years ago. That is the real job of OpenCart support: keeping a store that nobody has touched in eighteen months from quietly breaking.
We run fixed monthly plans for OpenCart 2.x, 3.x, and 4.x stores. Published prices, a real person to email, and no sales call before you can find out what it costs.
The pattern is predictable. An OCMOD or vQmod modification collides with another after an update. A payment extension stops working when the gateway changes its API. The PHP version the host upgrades to is newer than the store was built for. A store on OpenCart 1.5 or 2.x is running code that no longer gets security fixes at all. None of these announce themselves until a customer cannot check out.
Every tier covers the basics that keep a store safe: security monitoring, backups you can actually restore from, and a fixed number of support hours for the fixes and small changes that come up. The higher tiers add faster response and more hours for the stores where an hour of downtime costs real money.
If your store is on OpenCart 1.5 or an early 2.x, no support plan makes that codebase safe long term. We will keep it running while you plan, but we will also tell you plainly when the honest move is an upgrade to OpenCart 4 or a migration to WooCommerce. We would rather lose the retainer than bill you monthly to maintain something that should be replaced.
First month is risk-free. If our work does not meet your expectations in the first 30 days, you get a full refund and we hand back clean access.
