What was broken

Aria sold exclusively on Instagram — DM-based ordering, manual payment links, manual courier coordination. Revenue plateau at ~$60k/year. Customers complained about slow responses (24+ hours to confirm an order), missing inventory data (“Is this size still available?”), and no way to browse the full collection without scrolling through 18 months of Instagram posts.

The founder couldn’t scale without abandoning the editorial Instagram aesthetic that built the brand in the first place.

What we built

We built a WooCommerce store in 14 days that preserved Aria’s editorial Instagram aesthetic. Custom theme with full-bleed product photography, Monobank checkout (1-click for returning customers), Nova Poshta auto-rates at checkout, real-time inventory sync with the founder’s existing Google Sheets workflow.

Migrated 240 SKUs with proper photoshoots and copy. Set up abandoned cart recovery via email + Telegram bot. Wired up automated order confirmation, shipping updates, and a customer review request 7 days post-delivery.

What changed

Revenue grew from $60k/year to $168k in the first 6 months ($180k annualized) — a 180% increase. Conversion rate jumped from ~1.8% (DM funnel estimate) to 4.2% on the site (industry average for fashion eCommerce: 2.8%).

Average order value increased from $52 to $84 (+62%) thanks to product cross-sells in the cart and a “complete the look” recommendation engine. Customer support time dropped from 8 hours/day to 1.5 hours/day — instant order confirmations and automated tracking eliminated 80% of inquiries.

  • 1-click checkout for returning customers
    Custom checkout flow that recognizes Monobank payment tokens and skips the 4-step default flow. Cuts repeat-customer checkout from 90s to 12s.
  • "Complete the look" engine
    Algorithmic cross-sell on cart and product pages — surfaces matching items from the same collection. Lifted AOV by ~$32.
